1/25/2010 - ATTN: ALL BROKERS AND AGENTS: Bank of America and Bank of America Home Loans have made the following changes to their Earnest Money Guidelines: Effective 1/21/10 earnest money deposits shall be no less than 1% of the purchase price and are required for all REO properties.
1/21/2010 - ATTN: ALL KY & TN BROKERS: Clarification of the $100 Down Payment for owner occupant sales where FHA financing is utilized. Effective with bids awarded 1/22/10 and later, any owner occupant buyer using FHA financing is eligible for the $100 down payment. The buyer may NOT finance closing costs or prepaids into the loan. If the buyer bids over the 'as is' Appraisal value of the property, they must pay cash in the amount of the difference between the 'as is' Appraisal value and the offer price less $100.
